Ram Flo's high filtering efficiency, minimal restriction to air flo cost of maintenance provides many features which make them very attractive for use as replacement units on standard road vehicles.

HIGH FILTERING EFFICIENCY

Testing a 300 Series Ram Flo, it was found that it's filtering efficiency was virtually unimpaired whilst passing 140 cubic ft. of air per minute. (CFM) A conventional pancake type sports filter of similar dimensions also tested was far less efficient as a 'dust catcher' mainly due to the fact that the velocity of air through the filter at 140 CFM was so much greater due to its smaller filtering area.
