PARTS EXPLANATIONS
  SAMPLE PART NUMBER:
1. RF is the LYNX Computer Product Code which identifies the product, Ram Flo.
2. The next numbers, either 3, 4, 6, or 10, denote the capacity of the filter in 100's of cubic ft. of air per minute which it can pass without any appreciable restriction to flow. ie. 3 = 300 CFM.
4 = 400 CFM. 6 = 600 CFM, 10 = 1000 CFM.
3. The next two digits denote the base-plate type for specific applications or neck diameter. Refer numerical listing for details.
4.

In certain circumstances, space restriction around the carburettor necessitates a filter with an offset mounting. The letter P followed by a number denotes the offset position. To ascertain the correct offset number, view the carburettor and Ram Flo base-plate from the intake side.
The diagram at right shows offset positions and their relative P numbers.
E.g. to offset up, the hole will be on the lower edge or P5 etc.

5. The letter S denotes a breather spout is provided to used in conjunction with the existing crank-case breather system.
SS denotes two spouts are provided.
EXAMPLE: RF304P5S, is Ram Flo 300 Series for 1 3/4" SU, offset up with breather spout.

NOTE: The complete Ram Flo part number must be quoted when ordering. If you are unsure of the part number, please tell us what carb you have and we will let you know what filter is right for that carb.
